    1991

    SMK founded in Pasco, Washington

    2005

    SMK transitioned to an independently owned and operated sheet metal company

    2018

    SMK purchased by private ownership, growing the company to new heights with additional service lines, industry expertise, and passion for customer satisfaction

    2021

    SMK acquired by new ownership with proven success in expanding customer relations and driving operational performance

    Leadership

    Rob Fiocchi

    Director of Operations

    Mr. Fiocchi joined SMK in 2019 and has over 20 years of experience in industrial equipment fabrication and installation, including over 10 years in operational leadership. Before becoming Director of Operations, Mr. Fiocchi was a Field Manager for multiple complex projects.

    Prior to SMK, Mr. Fiocchi was a Project Manager for Apollo Mechanical and Field Manager for Thews Sheet Metal. Mr. Fiocchi specializes in Critical Path Projects and serves as the lead mentor for the SMK field team.

    Todd Ryan

    General Manager

    Mr. Ryan joined SMK in 2024 and has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing. He previously specialized in medical, heavy construction equipment, and special metals. Before joining SMK, Mr. Ryan was the Director of Manufacturing Operations for an Oil & Gas equipment company, where he displayed strong leadership and attention to detail to optimize efficiency.

    Mr. Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Oregon Tech and has extensive management experience in process engineering, operations, and manufacturing.

    Casey Eickerman

    Director of Estimating

    Mr. Eickerman joined SMK in 2016 and had spent the bulk of his career in the industrial equipment and food processing industry. He started his career as an apprentice in 2000 and journeyed out in 2006. He then grew his knowledge in multiple facets such as the sheet metal industry conducting ductwork, architectural, nuclear, and industrial.

    Prior to becoming the Director of Estimating, Mr. Eickerman ran most of SMK’s larger projects. Mr. Eickerman is a subject matter expert for any industrial equipment project.
